The Messiah
This Letter is dedicated to all who doubt that Yeshua is the messiah
In the Old Testament there was a Prophecy that a King would come to set Israel free, a Reigning King whose kingdom would never end. Zechariah 9:9 says {Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion {Israel}! Behold, your King {Messiah} is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, yet He is lowly and riding on a donkey.}The donkey Jesus rode on was a wild donkey; never a man has ever ridden on this donkey. I was raised on a farm and we had a donkey that was half wild, he would throw people off as soon as anybody would try to ride him. But since it was Yeshua that donkey was as tame as your most beloved pet. Remember only God can tame the wild just by saying to it,( be still and know that I am God.) In Micah 5:2 {But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Eternal…} The Bible warns her Messiah would step forth from Eternity. These are the prophecies in which the Jews are awaiting to be fulfilled by the Messiah, that is why the Jews rejected Yeshua because he did not deliver them and make them a nation of Kings and Priest to rule over all their enemies. That is because Yeshua came to win our hearts first, then he would come back to rule as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords from everlasting to everlasting. Yeshua fulfilled every Old Testament Prophecy that there was to fulfill. I don’t know what else the Jews of today want their Messiah to Fulfill, there are no missing Prophecies to be fulfilled concerning his coming. There are however Prophecies that tell about his second coming, but the first Prophecies had to be fulfilled before the second could be. This is what confuses the Jews that, and their hardened hearts, they refuse to listen to reason and have an open mind about the New Testament. I read a book once about a Jewish women who was converting over to Christianity and ask her Rabi to explain to her Isaiah 53; he said no Jew reads {Isaiah 53.} This is what I am talking about, even in their own Old Testament they refuse to listen to what the Bible is saying in Plain English. My dear Jewish friends listen to reason. Can anybody in this whole wide world ever fulfill all these prophecies? There is no possible way, maybe three even ten, but never over a hundred, that is impossible. When Yeshua entered into Jerusalem riding on a donkey the people shouted Hosanna! It is because they knew what the scripture says in (Zachariah9:9) this is another one he fulfilled Psalm22:18 When he was crucified He fulfilled the prophecy that said they divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots. Also in the same Psalm22:7, 8 {All those who see me laughed me to scorn; they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, "He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!''} This is the very words they said to Him as He hung on the cross. Now this prophecy was written even before this form of execution ever existed. Also David Psalm22:14-18 shows that David predicted His suffering as it was written in the New Testament. Verse 14 {my strength has drained away like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart melts like wax; my strength has dried up like sun-baked clay; my tongue sticks to my mouth, for you have laid me in the dust of death. The enemy, this gang of evil men, circles me like a pack of dogs; they have pierced my hands and feet. I can count every bone in my body. See these men of evil gloat and stare; they divide my clothes among themselves by a toss of the dice.} Now let’s look at the New Testament version in the Living Bible it goes on to say Mathew27:28-40 {But first they took him into the armory and called out the entire contingent. They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and made a crown from long thorns and put it on his head, and placed a stick in his right hand as a scepter and knelt before him in mockery. ``Hail, King of the Jews,'' they yelled. And they spat on him and grabbed the stick and beat him on the head with it. After the mockery, they took off the robe and put his own garment on him again, and took him out to crucify him. As they were on the way to the execution grounds they came across a man from Cyrene, in Africa--Simon was his name--and forced him to carry Yeshua's cross. Then they went out to an area known as Golgotha, that is, the (Skull Hill,) where the soldiers gave him drugged wine to drink; but when he had tasted it, He refused. After the crucifixion, the soldiers threw dice to divide up His clothes among themselves. Then they sat around and watched Him as he hung there. And they put a sign above His head, ``this is Jesus, the King of the Jews.'' Two robbers were also crucified there that morning, one on either side of Him. And the people passing by hurled abuse, shaking their heads at Him and saying, ``so! You can destroy the Temple and build it again in three days, can you? Well, then, come on down from the cross if you are the Son of God!''(Yeshua meant his body as the temple) The Jewish High Priest has broken many of their own laws when they killed Yeshua. In John 19:23-24 {Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His outer garments and made four parts, a part to every soldier and {also} the tunic; now the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece. So they said to one another, "Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, {to decide} whose it shall be"; {this was} to fulfill the Scripture: "They divided My” outer garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.” When Yeshua came to the Jews they wanted for Him to rescue them from The Romans. But He came to make a kingdom for Himself. How is He to be King if He has no Kingdom? Yahweh will never force you to love him, we are free to love or to reject Him. Another prophecy Yeshua fulfilled is in Zechariah 13:6-7 {``and if someone asks, `Then what are these scars on your chest and your back?' he will say, `I got into a brawl at the home of a friend!' ``Awake, O sword, against my Shepherd, the man who is my associate and equal,'' says the Lord Almighty. Strike down the Shepherd and the sheep will scatter, but I will come back and comfort and care for the lambs.} And so He has come back from the grave and He does care for us. Isaiah has the most prophecies about Yeshua Isaiah 53:7-8 {He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He never said a word. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He stood silent before the ones condemning Him. From prison and trial they led Him away to His death. But who among the people of that day realized it was their sins that He was dying for—that He was suffering their punishment? Also there is over a hundred prophecies that Yeshua has fulfilled. When their Messiah comes will he be able to do more miracles than what Yeshua did? Not so! Isaiah 49:6. {We--every one of us--have strayed away like sheep! We, who left God's paths to follow our own; Yet God, laid on him the guilt and sins of every one of us!} Isaiah 53:10-12. {But it was the Lord's good plan to bruise Him and fill Him with grief. However when His soul has been made an offering for sin, then He shall have a multitude of children, many heirs. He shall live again and God's program shall prosper in His hands. And when He sees all that is accomplished by the anguish of His soul, he shall be satisfied; and because of what He has experienced, my righteous Servant shall make many to be counted righteous before God, for He shall bear all their sins. Therefore I will give Him the honors of one who is mighty and great, because He has poured out His soul unto death. He was counted as a sinner, and He bore the sins of many, and He pled with God for sinners.} What will it take for the Jews to believe? They are such stiff necked people; if they only read the New Testament with the old-- they will come to the conclusion that Messiah was truly Yeshua. Luke 24:44-47{Then He said, ``When I was with you before, don't you remember my telling you that everything written about me by Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must all come true?'' Then He opened their minds to understand at last these many Scriptures! And He said, ``Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah must suffer and die and rise again from the dead on the third day; and that this message of salvation should be taken from Jerusalem to all the nations: There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me} Acks13:29-39 {``Brothers--you sons of Abraham, and also all of you Gentiles here who reverence God--this salvation is for all of us!} The Jews in Jerusalem and their leaders fulfilled prophecy by killing Yeshua; for they didn't recognize Him, or realize that He is the one the prophets had written about, though they heard the prophets' words read the Torah every Sabbath. They found no just cause to execute Him, but asked Pilate to have Him killed anyway. When they had fulfilled all the prophecies concerning His death, He was taken from the cross and placed in a tomb.}Hosea5:15{ I will abandon them and return to my home until they admit their guilt and look to me for help again, for as soon as trouble comes, they will search for me and say in Hosea 6:1-2 {Come, let us return to the Lord. It is He who has torn us to pieces but He will heal us. He has injured us but He will bind us up! In just a couple of days, or three at the most, He will set us on our feet again, to live in His kindness!} This is yet to be fulfilled. How did King David know when he wrote the book of Psalms16:10-11 before it happened? {For You will not leave Me among the dead; You will not allow your beloved one to rot in the grave. You have let me experience the joys of life.} This has happened when Yeshua died and arose from the grave. Isaiah 53:2-3 Isaiah 53 is talking without a doubt about the resurrection, but oh! How few believe it. Who will listen? To whom will God reveal his saving power? In God’s eyes He was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want him. We despised him and rejected him--a man of sorrows, acquainted with such bitter grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised and we didn't care. Only Yeshua, King of the Jews, Has fulfilled all these prophesies and if you don’t believe this I challenge you ask Yahweh to reveal to you if Yeshua is the Messiah and he will reveal to you his truth. Now go and buy yourself a New Testament Bible, and start reading and your eyes will be opened. David, Moses, Joseph, and so on were all a picture of-- (Christ) John 19: 36-37{For these things came to pass to fulfill the Scripture, "not a bone in Him shall be broken." And again another Scripture says, "They shall look on Him whom they pierced."} Yeshua said when Israel seeks Him and calls upon Him whom they have pierced, He will come to them. In the New Jerusalem with the Apocrypha Isaiah50:2 {I will abandon them and return to my home until they admit their guilt, why was there no one there when I came? Why did no one answer when I called? Is my hand too short to redeem? Have I not strength to save{ Look; with a threat I can dry the sea, and turn rivers to deserts; the fish in them go rotten for lack of water and die of thirst; and look to me for help again, for as soon as trouble comes, they will search for me and say, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. So call upon the name of the Lord and you and your household will be saved. Throughout the Bible the word (Call) is mentioned over two hundred times and also ( Name) is over two hundred times. There is something about the Name and about Call that God wanted us to see in His rich and precious Word. So how important it is to call upon His name which is Jesus to the gentiles and Yeshua, to the Jews for there is no other Name given to man more precious than Yeshua, yes He is our Jewish Messiah My prayer for you is that your eyes will be opened when you read Zechariah 12:10 {"I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.} Paul who was a devout Jew wrote about his people in the book of Romans 11:1-11 {So, I ask, ``God has not rejected His people, has He?'' Never! I am a Jew, too. I am a descendant of Abraham. I come from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject His people whom He knew about ahead of time. You know the Scripture about Elijah when he was pleading to God against the people of Israel: ``Lord they have killed your prophets. They have torn down your altar. I am the only one left. And, they are trying to kill me!'' What did God tell him? ``I have kept for Myself 7,000 men who have never worshiped Baal.'' So, it is the same today. There is only a small group whom God has chosen through His gracious love. Since it is by God's mercy, it is not through human effort anymore. If that were not true, grace would not mean grace. So, what does this mean? The people of Israel tried so hard to get something, but they didn't get it. However, God's chosen few did get it! The rest became stubborn. This is written: ``God gave them a numb spirit. They have eyes, but they don't see. They have ears, but they don't listen. This is true even today.'' David said ``I hope they will be caught, and trapped at their own table! I hope they will trip and be paid back! I hope their eyes will become dark, so that they can't see! I hope their backs will always break!'' So, I ask, ``When the Jews stumbled, did it ruin them?'' No! Through their sin, salvation came to people who are not Jewish. Why? To make the Jewish people, jealous! } So blindness has happen to the Jews until the Gentiles come in, after the Gentiles are saved; Then, Yahweh will open their eyes so that they may see and believe, and this also happen to them for rejecting their Messiah. All Israel will be saved after Yahweh removes the bandage This is the reason too, why they reject Their Messiah. To the real Jews with opened minds I say this, If you can walk on water make one born blind to see. heal the cripple, calm the storms, raised the dead, turn water into wine, feed five thounsand people with just five loaves and two fish. and raise youself to life after you been dead, He did all this by just the spoken word. If you can do all this, than I will fallow you! Think about it.
