God Cares

Since the beginning of the world, God has had you in mind. God
Says, in Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. My Point is that God loves you very much, so much so that he died for you. God, who is the Lord Jesus Christ only wants the best for you. But, Unfortunately for us, sin entered the world through Adam,  therefore this earth is under the curse of sin till the day of the lord comes. Because of the increase of sin in these later days, People are not living for God the way they should, therefore they have removed themselves out from under God’s protective umbrella. They will have to learn that God doesn’t tolerate sin in any of his children’s lives. He will chasten those who do not turn from doing evil. I do not claim to be someone of great intellect, but I do know what God expects from his children, Obedience. In the Old Testament Samuel told King Saul to obey is better than sacrifice. I Samuel 15:22. { Is the Lord pleased by burnt offerings and sacrifices or by obedience to the Lord’s voice? Truly, Obedience is better than sacrifice, submissiveness than the fat of rams. The same thing goes on today, People think they are sacrificing by getting up and going to church on Sunday morning, when what God really wants is for them to be obedient to him and to obey his word, and turn from their sins and turn to him. Jesus has more than enough power to conquer sin, but people rather their sin instead. They will never be blessed by God and never know him because of their sin. What Jesus has to offer is more than what the world will ever have to offer. Matthew 10:39 says { And he who does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it. And he who loses his life for My sake will find it. We are suppose to be living our lives for Jesus, and no longer for ourselves. It is by the Power of the Holy Spirit that he keeps us strong in him. Some people would tell you that it is impossible to live a holy life. This is an excuse so they can go on living in sin with the idea that God will forgive me when he comes, until then I will just live it up. What does the Bible have to say about these kind of people. In the book of Matthew 24: 49-51 says { But if that evil servant says in his heart, My master is delaying his coming, and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Notice that God said This Evil Servant,  which means that at one time he was a believer, a saved person. People will say that God is a loving God, and he is, but He also has a judgment side. God does not care who you are or how important you may be on this earth, he judges your heart and your thoughts to see if there is any sin present. Then he will deal with you about that sin however he chooses. The People of this world think they will get away with whatever they want to do. But God sees, and it is recorded in heaven, all the detestable things that even some of his own children think they will get away with. But  blessed is the man who meditates on God’s word day and night. I believe that God will protect those who seek him with their whole heart. Only the people that Jesus lives in will follow him. His Spirit will quicken them and make them be drawn to him. Sin Separates us from his presence, the joy he gives us when we are close to him, and removes us out from under his umbrella of protection. We as Christians have to make a choice, either to live for Jesus, or not. We must be careful to avoid being lukewarm. In the book of Revelation 3:16 it says { I will spew you out of my mouth}. God does not tolerate lukewarm Christians because these kinds of people are not the kind of hearts that seek him. Those are not the hearts that are on fire for him, that are in love with him. These so called Christians, only have an outward appearance of Christianity. They take God off of the shelf on Sunday, and during the week live like heathens. True Christians may fall once in a while but they don’t stay in that sinful state. The Holy Spirit that is within them warns them of where they go wrong, and so they repent of their sins and turn to God for forgiveness. Please will you repent of your sins before it is too late? If  you’re a true Christian I know you will.
