Jehova’s Witnesses I’ve been reading on the Jehovah’s witnesses and their beliefs. The Jehovah’s witnesses have a watchtower in New York. To all of you Jehovah’s witnesses out there who want to know the truth about this religion. I am here to exposes what your religion is all about and how they started. Most of the people had an encounter with one or more Jehovah’s witnesses. Their people are very eager to convert other people to there religion. They actually believe that if they convert people they will earn God’s approval. Watchtower Organization are best known for their Mass publications they have the largest publisher in the free World. In one single year they printed 44 million books and 550 million magazines, 14 million copies of their magazines watchtower are published every two weeks, in 108 languages in the world. This Organization also publishes over 12 million copies of awake in about 62 languages every two weeks. The Jehovah’s Witnesses, must of map out the whole US. Who has not seen a Jehova’s Witnesses come knocking at your door. Out of sheer grueling persistence, They have been able to harvest many people, who are not well grounded in the Bible, which is the true word of God. They don’t know much about God at all. The Watchtower Society begin by a man named Charles T. Russel. the founding father of the Jehovah’s witnesses. He was raised in a protestant Church in Pennsylvania. This man did not like certain things in the Bible- like hell. He did not like God’s eternal judgment, or the teaching of the Trinity. He said the Trinity is not rational and that he could not understand it. We have a letter on the Trinity and how you can understand it! Russel, begin to teach and develop his own theology which he begin to publish in a series called studies in scriptures. Later in 1979 he begin to publish the watch tower magazine. Then in 1909 he moved his headquarters to Brooklyn New York, where it remains to this day. Russel calculated when Jesus would come back to be visibly on the earth. For many years he prophesied that it would be in 1874 When Christ did not return, he changed his mind and date to 1914. But 1914 came and went and Jesus did not return. So that alone makes him a false prophet. A true Prophet does not make any mistake. He must be 100 % correct all the time according to God’s Word the Bible, or he is to be called a false prophet and to be put to death by stoning. So along came his Successor. Joseph Franklin Ruderford, it was that under this man’s leadership that the watchtower grew and was built into a great theocratic Kingdom of God on earth. This means a government ruled by God. They claim is God’s Government on earth, and that all other Governments are evil and Satanic. They do not pledge legions, or salute our flag and they do not celebrate Christmas because they think that Jesus was not resurrected on Easter, Because Jesus to them never resurrected at all. We do not celebrate Easter or Christmas but only because that came from a pagan background. They say God’s Name is Jehova, when it’s actually Yahweh. I have a letter on God’s name. Russel changed his date many times on the coming of the Christ, all proven to be false and did not come to pass. Rutherford was his successor and he made the organization bigger. Russel died in 1917 proven to be a false prophet. It was Rutherford’s leadership that the organization grew. It was under Rutherford that the name Jehovah’s Witness began to be used. He did this saying that the true name of God will be vindicated Since he does not believe that Jesus was God and the Holy Spirit is not God, but only Jehovah alone is God. He prophesied that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would return visibly to this earth to help promote the kingdom of God. He was so sure of his prediction that he built a large palatial Mansion in San Diego for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to live in, when they would return around 1925 and 1929. Those years came and went and the prophets never show up! And so he moved into the Mansion himself and lived there until he died in 1942, again proven to be a false prophet. The organization was taken over in 1942 by Nathan H. Knorr. It was under Knorr’s leadership it developed it’s strong missionary out reach all over the world. It was also under his leadership that the witnesses wrote their own translation of the Bible which they call The New World Translation. The Jehovah’s Witnesses clamed that five Greek scholars in the watchtower did this translation, but it becomes quite obvious to any one who knows Greek, or Hebrew that there are gross errors and this translation. It was obviously produced as a conscious attempt to make the Bible fit preconceived the witnesses theology. The new translation was just part of the problems created by Nathan H. Knorr. You would think he had learned a lesson about false Prophets, from his predecessors. But finally in 1966, he could no longer resist, and Knorr also begin to Prophecy through the watchtower and Awake magazines. His first major Prophecy was that the year 1975 was going to be the end of the age. And that Armageddon would occur at the time. Obviously 1975 has come and gone and Armageddon did not occur. It was just too big of a lie. To weave a new tail around it. Many Jehovah’s Witnesses understood what God had said in Deuteronomy18: 18-21 {`What they have said is well said. From their own brother I shall raise up a prophet like yourself; I shall put my words into his mouth and he will tell them everything I command him. Anyone who refuses to listen to my words, spoken by him in my name, will have to render an account to me. But the prophet who presumes to say something in My Name which I have not commanded him to say, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die.' `You may be privately wondering, `How are we to tell that a prophecy does not come from Yahweh?' ‘When a prophet speaks in the name of Yahweh and the thing does not happen and the word is not fulfilled, then it has not been said by Yahweh. The prophet has spoken presumptuously. You have nothing to fear from him."} Also read Deut. 13:1-5 in 1976 and 1977 over a million Jehovah’s witnesses left the watchtower, deeply disillusioned with the organization that clamed to be the voice of God on earth, but had proven again and again to be a false prophet. Knorr also proven to be a false prophet died in 1977 and then it was taken by Frederick Franz, who had been it’s leading theologian for over sixty years. And Franz died in 1992. Yet the Watchtower continues to grow under the leadership of Milton G. Henschel. He stepped down from the presidency in 2001. The new president of the Watchtower Society of New York Inc- is M. H. Larson. Five important facts are these 1. they have accepted the organization as the prophet of God. 2. they have accepted the organization as God’s sole channel for his truth. 3. They believe that to reject the organization is to reject God himself. They believe that only the organization can interpret the Bible; as if we individuals, are unable to do so for ourselves. They believe that the Watchtower Magazine contains God’s truth directed by Him, through the organization. Truly what they believe is that God Himself speaks to this organization. But we know that God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit and by His Word the true Bible but not their made up false book. They are nothing more than a cult from hell. |
