Demons in Darkness                    
 

Dark spirits whether they are inside the body or outside the body they are attracted to each other, they are attracted to places of darkness that are sinful. They  produce an atmosphere of evil that you can feel, a presence of evil that hangs in the air, you can almost taste it. A feeling that is uncomfortable, or  uneasy, something that you just can’t put your finger on. There are documented cases where when some people walk into a house infested with diabolical spirits they said they felt like walking into a closet, the air was stale like in a tight space, except it felt that way all over the house. They also reported that the air had an electromagnetic property to it, it made the hair on the back of their neck stand up. This only happens in extreme cases where there is a high level of demonic Energy present. Demons are virtually everywhere, even though you can’t see them their there. One way you can tell if a demon is present is watching the way people act when you talk to them about God, if they become uncomfortable and uneasy, they have a demon in them. Not all lost people have a demon in them, because you can talk with some people about God and they will not shy away. If anyone claims to fellowship with Jesus but do not show signs that they are his, then they are fooling themselves, 1 John 1:6 says If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. And in 1 Corinthians 10:21 says You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too, you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. Behind each stronghold, there is a demonic spirit pulling the strings. Those who choose to follow their own evil desires choose to follow these demonic spirits, and in so doing, reject Christ. They are led astray by these evil spirits, and do not consider God at all. They are stubborn and want to follow their own way and will not listen to reason. Of course the only way they can get free is to accept Jesus Christ and to follow him and become his disciple. Something wonderful happens when the Spirit of truth enters into your heart, demons flee in terror. But remember, it all boils down to this, that lost person has a choice to make, will they accept him or not, we all have a free will. We are not forced to accept him. One thing is for certain no one gets into Heaven without him living in their heart. Jesus said, to he who overcomes,-- overcomes what? the sinful world.
